“The hotel room was like a furnace and the Air-conditioning on the lowest setting was heating up the room. There were some lovely views of the cathedral that were blocked by the design of the hotel ( there were slats running horizontal that had no structural necesity). Breakfast was lovely especially the tarta de santiago and the fresh cooked omelette. The staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was not heated at all and far to cold.”

“The very best thing about this hotel is its staff. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and they are going out of their way to make you feel welcome and safe. Rooms are spacious and beds are extremely comfortable. If you come by car, this is perfect, as you can park there comfortably and then just walk to the old town. Also the gym and spa and pool area are great. Would definitely stay here again. Just one thing, which surely has more to do with the hotel chain and not this property per se, is that several amenities and basics have been removed with the excuse of COVID, however they are clearly methods for saving costs, such as removing the body lotion from the amenities. Not a big deal but a bit cheeky.”
