Amazing location, all the main Istanbul sights are within one kilometer. The hotel feels dated, with lobby and the rooms both old. The bed is firm enough, and there is good water pressure in the small bathroom. The towels are old, and hard. The breakfast buffet is free for honors members, and it is very good. They have five warm dishes, and soup, and numerous cold dishes including turkish delights!

Recently booked two rooms here for a vacation in Istanbul taking into account the location and reviews. Regret booking this hotel so badly. Both rooms were in disgusting condition upon arrival. All the towels were stained and falling apart, there was nasty stuff all over the walls and counter tops had nasty gooey stuff, one of the room’s air conditioner was not working. We informed the front desk, they sent someone to rectify the situation. The air conditioner was fixed immediately, however the lady that was sent to clean the room could not be bothered. The room was in such bad condition we ended up leaving within the first hours and had to pay premium price to switch to another hotel last minute, which also happened to be a Hilton and also paid a premium price to the driver outside the hotel, they took this as an opportunity to rip us off. Front staff tried to be helpful but the rooms were in awful condition. See pics. Do not recommend. Also, called Hilton several times during and after and they did nothing. We were refunded our hotel booking fees but then up-charged at a new Hilton location for booking last minute.

Couldn't believe that this was a Hilton Hotel. Bad service. Broken promises about changing our room. We were in Room 204 overlooking a restaurant that played loud music all night. House keeping was disgusting. Had a 3 bed room. Everyday we had to phone for extra towels and toiletries. Staff are not interested because Hotel always full because of location. Breakfast is standard. Poor service. When you ask for tea with milk. You get tea then waitron goes for milk. You have to request a spoon. By the time everything that is needed for a cup of tea is in front of you your tea is Icy cold. I will definitely not be going back to this Hotel. Hilton needs to up their standards in this hotel.

Very nice clean and quiet hotel. Location is perfect. Better than the hotels tucked down behind Hagia Sofia. You can easily walk everywhere or ride the tram. We had a nice king suite, which felt roomy. The bed and bedding was comfortable and black-out drapes worked great. Outlets by the bed for chargers. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was OK, but eggs were not that good-- but being I was in Istanbul I can live with that. Lots of variety at breakfast. The local streets were much quieter than those just a few blocks away, which is perfect for me.

Great location! 1km walking to all the main attractions. The roof top have an amazing view and is nice for some drinks. Good quality of food and service is very good. Rooms are good, just the maintenance can improve, we booked 3 rooms and in one room in the bathroom it has some electric sockets broken and the drain at the shower not properly maintained. Rest was good, bed very comfortable.

Location is quite good, but it would be quite official check-in process which I didn't feel good enough for the Diamond tier member compared to other Doubletree properties.

Localização perfeita. Esta é uma grande característica deste hotel. Tudo está perto: a parada de bonde, o metrô, Sultanahmet e o Grande Bazar. Bronzeado sem café da manhã, pois é um buffet normal, aconselho que experimente os cafés da manhã no café ao lado, pois também há muitos deles por perto. Eu aconselho!

Ficamos neste hotel por 2 noites e não tivemos nada a reclamar. A equipe do hotel foi muito simpática e prestativa. Tivemos um quarto king e em comparação com outros DoubleTree que ficamos na Cidade Velha, o quarto era muito espaçoso! O bairro tem boas opções de alimentação. não era muito alto durante as noites ou de manhã cedo. Você não está muito longe da área da Hagia Sophia e da Mesquita Azul. Muitas opções de compras e super mercado. Eu definitivamente voltaria aqui.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and we had nothing to complain about at all. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a king room and compared to other DoubleTree we have stayed in Old Town, the room was very spacious! The neighborhood has good food options. it was not too loud during late nights or early mornings. You’re not too far from The Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque area. Lot of options for shopping and super market. I would definitely go back here.

O bairro é uma área turística muito tranquila pela manhã.A localização pode facilmente caminhar até a parada de bonde Sirkeci nas proximidades. Serviço nas proximidades Tabacarias, Barbearia, Restaurantes turísticos, Alguns bares, cafés, lojas de doces.Ruído externo - Calmo pela manhã. Não há boates nas proximidades. Os tambores locais dos músicos em restaurantes podem ser ouvidos por um curto período à noite.Facilidade - Aceitável. A equipe técnica respondeu ao problema do quarto rapidamente e o resolveu.Alimentos Bebidas - O serviço de café-da-manhã foi excelente, uma equipe muito atenciosa. É bem gerido. A comida era boa. O expresso da máquina automática era aceitável. Ovos preparados na hora. Boa seleção geral.Quarto - Móveis aceitáveis, algumas manchas no carpete, As paredes não têm boa insonorização. My experience during 5 night stay Overall one of the better Doubletree Hotels I have stayed at in Turkey. Reasonable room price. Reception - Very Good, accommodated my requests in a professional manner and quickly. Security - Front door attended by hotel staff. Elevator access to rooms is not secured by key access. Neighborhood is tourist area so very quiet in the morning. Location can easily walk to Sirkeci tram stop nearby. Service nearby Tobacco shops, Barber, Tourist restaurants, Couple of bars, coffee shops, sweet shops. External Noise - Quiet in the morning. No nightclubs nearby. Local drums from musicians in restaurants can be heard for short duration in evening. Facility - Acceptable. Technical staff responded to room issue quickly and resolved it. Food Beverage - Breakfast service was excellent, very attentive staff. It is well managed. Food was good. Espresso from automatic machine was acceptable. Eggs cooked to order. Good selection overall. Room - Acceptable furnishings, some carpet stains, Walls do not have good soundproofing. I was in a suite so there was good desk with electrical plugs. Housekeeping - They respected by do not disturb sign. Responded quickly to my requests. As with all housekeeping staff (but better than most) they were a bit noisy when cleaning rooms.

1. Os quartos já estão desatualizados. 2. O hotel está localizado abaixo de Topkapi, 5 a 7 minutos para subir a colina. 3. Pequena seleção de alimentos no café da manhã. 4. Consegui um quarto ao lado da entrada principal. Muito barulhento à noite, isolamento insuficiente. 5. O pessoal é educado. 6.Wi-FI é terrível

This was a really comfortable stay. As I am a diamond member we were upgraded to a nice large room with a really nice bathroom which included a great bath and also a shower and wetroom space. There was a good selection of food for breakfast, the staff were friendly and helpful.

The overall is ok, but there are details that for me were not so good. Like room cleaning - not very well done, especially in this times with pandemic panic. Breakfast is served by their personal and is very hard to pick what you want because you can not see what is on display (there was a line that you can not cross) and they are not English speakers. Do not recommend airport private transfer. Very expensive with not so good cars (our was broken or something, because it was trembling very hard).

Love the staff attitude, from front desk to banquet to housekeeping all smiles and greetings everytime. I got the double Queen room and it is super spacious and clean. Breakfast was ample and nice. I specifically liked the hotel area where its near to landmarks. Do try the small cafe just to the right of outside. They have great food! To the management, you have wonderful assets in your staff and I do hope to see them again when i return in the future. Highly recommend this hotel.

I have a very big problem! I feel very hot in the room cause of AC! And i've try to sleep but none of us can sleep! My mom & me suffers from allergies! Our body is Perspiring and red! I've call the room service and they send me someone to check it but he close it and he let ma talk to lady that she tell me you must close the ac and open the window&the AC will not work because it's winter! Is that really! It's not my 1st time came to turkey in winter but it is 1st time i face this!

Pleased with my stay here; walkable area with loads of shopping (mind you the prices here are much higher than elsewhere) and restaurants as well as close to the tram stops. You can walk to the major sights like Hagia Sophia. Breakfast option provided a wide selection of decent quality foods that lasted us way past lunch hours. staff very friendly and rooms were clean and had good wifi.

Me encantó este hotel porque realmente es tal y como salen las fotos: solo un detalle no cojáis el hammam pues es carísimo y además el servicio que te dan no es nada bueno ,pero respecto al hotel todo lo que puedo decir es que me gustó mucho y es una buena relación calidad precio
