Buen hotel de la cadena Barceló aunque acostumbrado a los hoteles en España y de la cadena en otros lugares, las 5 estrellas le quedan muy grandes. Empleados poco simpáticos la mayoría, trato frío y distante, la media pensión no está mal pero:- Buffet del desayuno con pocas opciones y calidad normalita para ser un 5 estrellas - Cena servida en el bar Champ (bar deportivo) a la carta, con un menú cerrado y poco variado (no estaba malo, pero lo mismo, se espera mucho más de un 5 estrellas), donde a la mañana es un buffet, a la noche es 1 plato de cada cosa (rntrante, principal y postre. Agua incluida y 1 refresco). Si decir que las raciones son muy copiosas, no te quedas con hambre. - El nivel de servicio no es adecuado para un 5 estrellas y no es culpa del personal, es culpa de Barceló que la formación debe ser poca o nula (en este caso de la dirección del hotel o responsable de ello).El bar B-Heaven esta cerrado y desmontado (lo dicen en su página pero debes buscarlo muy bien. Hasta octubre abierto si el tiempo acompaña).Las cosas positivas:- Muy buen trato en recepción. - Nos dieron una habitación superior, barceló si eres un cliente asiduo nunca falla en esto. Genial por ellos. - Camas espectaculares. - Habitación grande, espaciosa y muy cómoda. - WiFi a la altura, pude trabajar en remoto sin problema. - Ubicación bastante buena en beyoglu. A nosotros nos gusta caminar así que a lo mejor para alguien está lejos (50m a paso medio para llegar a sultanhamet).Que le falta para alcanzar la excelencia de un 5 estrellas? Cosas muy importantes, mejor formación del personal, mejor comida en el buffet y mejor desarrollo de la media pensión.Ahora mismo sobre un 10. Le daría un 7.

Un hotel acogedor y limpio.... Con un personal muy atento, y te hacen sentir como en casa... En desayuno es deliciosoy está en una zona muy céntrica puedes ir a pie a muchos lugares de interés.... Sin dudas me hospedería ahí de nuevo.

We stayed for 7 nights and rooms were very comfortable, pillows are soft enough to give you a good night’s sleep. Rooms are clean and staff are always smiling and willing to help. We even had PCR test arranged at hotel premises without having to go anywhere, results were ready within 5 hours for us at the reception. Will come back soon.

Everything was great But the movement of some employees is racist That is, if you comes from Asia, you should know that not everyone is kind to you With the difference that I am fluent in Spanish, when I speak Spanish, the behaviors are very different I was very upset at breakfast and almost cried I travel to many countries but this is the first and last time I use this hotel The cleaning team was very good, especially Suzan aksoy One of the best employees Reception and entrance services are good Room service as well But at breakfast, omelettes and drink Section were the worst and most racist

Great hotel with convenient location plus friendly staff and high security. However, poor management in Covid-19 testing and not the best air conditioning plus cutlery where not for free which was inconvenience

Todo estuvo muy bien, nos quedamos en este hotel a través de un tour. Todos los empleados estaban muy interesados, especialmente Bora y Basak de la recepción. Estaba muy feliz de poder hablar español con alguien. La limpieza de la habitación y el servicio de desayuno superaron mis expectativas. Muchas gracias por todo

It was a very bad experience , We left 100 $ in deposits when we arrived at the hotel then we extended the reservation for one more night , we were surprised that the reservation was not made so they asked us to leave the room immediately when were on a trip far away from the hotel , when we came back for checking out they dedcuted 50 $ for the delay!! And it was all their fault , they were not cooperative at all. The staff cant speak english very well and hence it was difficult for us to explain the exact situation for them,a non pleasantcustomer service, worst experience ever.

I spent some days and everything was excellent. Room service, cleaning and staff, particularly Engine who was really nice to us. He speaks fluent spanish and is a credit for the hotel. I would come back again!

I stayed in Barcelo before and this was my second visit. Compared to the first time there is a serious drop in quality and customer care. Reception staff were not friendly, wrong information was given to me about breakfast prices. Staff at the breakfast restaurant were rude when I asked about the price difference. Yes it’s only a small difference, but it’s about the principal of giving the right information. The staff took my credit card details even at check out! Why do you need to take down my credit card details after I paid everything and leaving the hotel?! This is the only hotel with such an unprofessional practice and no regard for safety. The only good things was comfort of the bed. For this price range there are better 5 star options in Istanbul, I won’t be staying here in my next trip

My husband and I traveled during the pandemic to Istanbul and Barcelo Hotel management made us feel so safe! They go above and beyond to sanitize our luggage, do temperature checks, adhere to strict mask wearing not only to staff but their guest as well. The hotel staff were extremely nice and accommodating. We were upgraded to a deluxe room simply by being nice . The room is huge with a grand bathroom and tub. The bed was quite comfortable and room was very clean. Its a few minute walk to Taksim square which was great to be away from the loud street noise. The breakfast was also superb. I would Definitely stay here again

I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best hotel experience me and my wife ever had. There is an assistant front office manager by the name of Burhan Yildiz who has been supportive and helpful since day one. Insuring our stay was excellent. We were truly amazed at how much he cared about our stay. He constantly made sure everything was perfect and kept assisting us in every way possible. I’ver been in many hotels in all my years but in terms of service and location this is without a doubt number 1 on my list

An amazing hotel and the staff are fantastic. We stayed for my girlfriend's 40th Birthday, everything was perfect and the staff went out of their way to make her day extra special. Thank you all very much, will definitely be coming back here in the future. Only downside was spa prices

Barceló siempre es Barceló. La calidad abunda cuando hablas de esta cadena hotelera. Enhorabuena a todos los que forman parte de Barceló, y en concreto a éste, porque mi estancia fue perfecta. Hotel increíble, justo al lado de la plaza Taksin, habitaciones amplias y bien dotadas, el desayuno del 10. Aconsejo no irse sin subir a la última planta, donde el gimnasio, y salir a la terraza, para contemplar las grandiosas vistas, casi de 360 grados.

Excelente. Limpio, cómodo, habitaciones muy amplias, moderno. Buffet variado. Extensa colección de quesos y preparados detox. Ninguna objeción. A 5 minutos andando de Taksim. Sin duda muy recomendable.

This hotel is closed! Also the Mixo Cocktail bar on the rooftop is closed. Seems closed already a while and it doesn't look like it's going to open soon or at all. Security guard is not aware of any opening time as well. Status in September 2018. If you find this helpful pls like this post. Thx

I always enjoyed my stays here. Rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the location is perfect, putting you within walking distance of Taksim Square, İstiklal Caddesi, Gezi Parkı, and the Taksim Metro and Funicular station.

I have stayed a week . The hvac system or 'A/C' was not work ok .so I colled the service but they came but they did not do anything . So I changed the room but without the benefit until the week finsh. Do Hotel is weak.2 stars
