“Reception staff nice chef having a laugh! well done steak like shoe leather, not happy with this. French like meat from raw to just cooked. Rooms clean and smell clean. Happy to stay again but will eat out. Steak house 2 minutes away was fantastic.”

“Shockingly slow service at the bar and absolutely shocking steak frites for 3 which we had been looking forward to all day (because historically it's been quality meat and delicious accompaniments. Staff refused to accept the meat wasn't cooked to order or that it was horribly fatty and mostly inedible. Steak came with tomato ketchup no choice of pepper sauce or anything. Absolutely awful. Been coming here for 15 years on route to The Alps but will be avoiding from now on and finding another place to spend our money. The only good thing was the scrambled egg in the morning.”
