“Nice hotel and excellent location, however, with some flaws. The hotel itself is located ~20 m above sea level with an excellent view from the pool, restaurant and some rooms on the ocean and the amazing beach and sand dunes. The buildings and rooms are a little bit older but still okay. The service is very friendly and food is of good quality. The ocean is not suited for swimming here (very big waves and almost always red flag on the beach). You may still walk in the water and have fun and there’s a beach guide - but it’s definetly not perfect for kids. Also nice if you are a Kitesurfer (not beginner). You can go out right in front of the hotel and if necessary also use the service of the local kite center (does not belong to the hotel). Be prepared to cross the strong beach break and expect a strong current as well. My impression was that the wind is also always some knots weaker as compared to spots more in the north (Riu). Wind is side-off, there’s a rescue service from the kite center (will take some while). We were here in January 2020 and had a nice vacation. The part we did not like: there is a lot of construction work going on next to the hotel, where a new Magic Life Hotel is build on the rocks. The noise starts at 7 a.m. in the Morning and wasn’t mentioned in the hotel description at the time of booking. Since the construction has just begun, we would assume there will be noise for the upcoming months/ years (our room was at the other side of the construction side and still it was disturbing). In summary, very nice and normally 5 Stars, but potentially spoiled by the construction works (depends on how sensitive you are to noise).”
