Left my 750 dollar room and I forgot my face cleanser. Sadly it was stolen. I thought being in a nice place I would be cover. I called the hotel 2 hours later and no one could find it.

Maybe my fault for not doing more research, but when I arrived I found out valet parking is $50/night and they have no restaurant. No big deal, I booked it for the location. The problems started after check in. They only have one working elevator so we waited over 10 minutes each time we needed to use it! When it would arrive it was completely packed because everybody would just jump on hoping to get their floor sooner. NEXT I couldn’t get hot water for my son to take a bath before bed. When I took a shower in the morning it was still cold! I brought these issues up to the front desk in the morning and he said construction crew broke a pipe line outside the building six weeks ago?! I’m not sure how a broken pipe line outside the building affects hot water inside the building but anyway… he then also said the elevator problem is out of his control… I don’t believe this is how you take care of a unhappy customer.

They staff are just wonderful and made the experience. The hotel itself does need some room updates to the bathrooms and equipment. My shower water did not get very warm and was run down. The hotel is very close to a lot of bars and restaurants, which was great.

Awesome service to start. As a Hyatt member they knew my name and supported any needs or asks without any push back. The staff is warm and friendly. The hotel rooms are good size. The rooms are clean with modern comfort and amenities. The lounge downstairs is vibrant. The hotel is close to everything in downtown Austin.

As soon as we walked into the room, we noticed a huge cockroach on the wall. We called the front desk and they said they will send the engineering person to handle it. We still did not feel comfortable staying in the room even though we killed the cockroach because there could be more and they can get into suitcases and bags and travel back home with you. The front desk gave us a new room. So we went into the new room and once we got there we inspected the room to make sure there were zero cockroaches. However, we found a giant urine stain on the sheets. This was disgusting and not cleaned at all. Which means that every room in this hotel was going to be dirty and infested with cockroaches. We went back to the front desk and they gave us a full refund and were understanding and apologized. Giving them 2 stars because we did get the refund. Please clean your hotel better. Also, your prices are way too high for a dirty cockroach hotel.

Super clean and an amazing location. We rented scooters through the app Lime for $12/day for unlimited rides for 24 hours to get around but you can easily walk anywhere too. I was just hot and didn’t want to walk all over in the humidity. The Congress Avenue bridge is just a 10 min walk away and that’s where you’ll go to see the bats. We got an early check in at 11am which was nice. Complimentary breakfast. We parked elsewhere since I didn’t wanna pay $50 per night. Use the app SpotHero to find cheaper parking! The staff was super nice and they gave me toothbrushes and a free mask when I forgot one on the way out. There’s a grocery store across the street too which was nice and convenient for hygiene products and they had a coffee bar too!

Our check in was not until 3pm and we got in at 10 am and they were able to give us an available room for no extra cost. Rooms were nice and clean and staff was really nice. They also held our luggage after checkout because we had an evening flight and went out about town. Very centrally located as well! This was cheaper than any airbnb I looked into as well. Very satisfied.

Not bad! I still prefer the Hyatt on the water - but love the extra couch in the King single room and the pretty window views. This is an amazingly walkable hotel. Convenience store across the street. Coffee 1 block away. The bat bridge is 3 blocks away.

“ During these times it is not easy to get away and enjoy yourself, the city is just now re-opening and I feel as if this hotel has so many hidden feel I couldn’t even calculate how much the actual room was per night. I called my bank because I thought it was fraudulent charges but it turns out the hotel held an ADDITIONAL $300 on my card without even informing me this would be necessary to book. There are hotels half the price on the same area that do not do these annoying charges and I honestly will say that this put a damper on my vacation time here in Austin “
