One word summarizes my experience. Average. Service: The front desk was not rude, but didn’t seem the most sincere. I asked for an upgrade as a elite Hyatt member (suppose to offer at least a higher floor upgrade) but said she only has paid upgrades while mentioning the hotel is sold out….. Rooms: Clean. The shower was good. However, walls are paper thin. You can hear people talking next door. Breakfast: Average. Hyatt is falling behind as a brand on breakfast. Recently had Embassy Suite and Tru from the Hilton brand, it’s no comparison. The free breakfast here feels like a free meal and that’s all. Parking: $10 self-park. Its not bad. The charging station in the front of the hotel is pretty good since we got a Tesla rental. I would most likely consider other properties next time I’m in the Bay Area.

Rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful and kind. I enjoyed the daily selection for breakfast. A great way to start off my day and the fresh baked cookies at the end of the day was fun. Wish the shower was better. The shower head seemed to not be up to the level of everything else, but I would still book again.

Stayed here for about 7 months (switching to a few different rooms by choice) so this is definitely a solid review. All things great about this Hyatt: Great management! A few signs of that shows through the staff themselves. If management is great, then it trickles down to the staff members and how well the hotel as a whole is put together. Yesenia is very sweet, helpful, and clearly cares about all staff and customers under that roof. Awesome staff! The staff members here take initiative to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. Shout out to Thomas, Dezerey, Miguel, kitchen + cleaning crew for making my hotel stay feel like a second home. Cleanliness! The hotel was usually spotless. Pool was always kept in good shape. They even do upkeep with shampooing the carpets (which is a nice touch since I always assume the carpets are dirty/not well taken care of) Location is great! Right off the highway. This hotel is located in a shopping center with fast food options, nice restaurants, Starbucks, drugstore, and even an urgent care. Other pros: Breakfast is pretty good compared to other hotels. Fresh HOMEMADE cookies available every weekday! I loved this touch since this was just something this specific location does that I haven't seen any other Hyatt's do. The cookies are better than something you would expect from grandmas kitchen on thanksgiving. Cons: Ehh the ice machine in the refrigerators were mainly broken? But really, not a big deal. There are ice machines on other floors. Laundry was pretty expensive and a lot of the time didn't dry my clothes all the way so I had to hang dry them. A combination of the middle washing machine not working well, adding too many clothes to the washers/dryers, and people opening the doors mid-dry to check for availability. It will eat up your quarters really fast if you run into any of those issues.

I stayed in this hotel thrice for business trips. The staff and their service is amazing. I forgot my phone on my last trip in their hotel and the staff reached out to me saying that the room cleaning staff handed over the phone to them and they don't have my address on file or else they could have sent it. I sent the address and a pre paid label and they sent my phone right away to my address. They communicated with me all the while and let me know on the status. I liked their service and breakfast and now I like their honesty and integrity. This will be my hotel to stay whenever I come to San Jose for business or vacation.

Just so y'all know, I used to work here as a bartender and the men that hang around the bar consistently harass the women that live here, travel here and come down to the bar to eat some food. One man eventually was able to get to a very drunk woman's room and refused to leave, on various other occasions the hotel manager allowed a group of about 2-5 men (not all of them go everyday) and after harassing women for about 3 days in a row (the women complained to me after they left) I told them that they needed to be a bit more respectful to the other patrons at the bar as everyone is coming to simply have a good time and not everyone like being called pet names by a stranger.. Instead of standing in solidarity with the staff trying to protect hotel guests, I was fired for telling them anything at all. So ladies, beware! There have already been really gross and disturbing instances at this hotel
