“Went for a business trip. The other person in my group reserved a river view, but my suite, which is facing the street, is much more extravagant and spacious. In Rome's defense, the weather was not conducive to a pretty and tranquil river view. Also, I was forewarned that the hotel is older and so if you feel like your door has a slammed crack at the bottom or you feel like you are walking downhill... It's because you are. It does NOT take away from the beauty and quiet of the hotel. The building is spacious and within walking distance of the downtown area. And the adjacent restaurant/bar has a peaceful ambiance, great service and great food. We ordered the chicken and shrimp Alfredo, respectively and were both pleased.”

“Gave two stars for cleanliness no upgrade they said they were fully booked yet as I saw that not everyone arrived they could have given me a room that someone hasn't arrived yet and met my requests didn't even try smoke detector hanging from ceiling said they would come with a ladder to mount it properly never happened when I asked for a late checkout they first refused then only gave me one hour after I told them I'm a diamond member they should know that on their own free breakfast is only basic items anything else there is a upcharge so overall nice hotel not great service”
