“O lobby parecia incrível, mas todo o resto, incluindo os jardins, a piscina, as alas com os quartos e os próprios quartos, estavam desatualizados. Teria sido um lugar agradável na década de 1970. Ao fazer o check-in, a recepcionista do saguão nos instruiu a sair pela porta da frente e caminhar por todo o hotel pelo estacionamento para obter nossos quartos. Expliquei que não estávamos estacionando um veículo desde que fomos deixados, mas ele ainda nos deu as mesmas instruções. Ele foi conosco para nossos quartos e foi muito legal, mas o processo em si era bobo, já que você podia atravessar o hotel e os pátios para chegar ao nosso prédio.O quarto parecia limpo à primeira vista, mas após uma inspeção mais detalhada, havia muita poeira escondida atrás e embaixo dos objetos. O tapete atrás das cortinas não era aspirado há muito tempo e continha sujeira, pequenos pedaços de lixo e até uma unha do pé (eca). O chão do banheiro parecia limpo, mas também tinha sujeira ao redor dos rodapés. O carpete e o banheiro com azulejos pareciam sujos e não estavam devidamente limpos.Muitos restaurantes e bares nas proximidades, o que foi uma vantagem. Valeu a pena o preço de US$ 140/noite? Não.”
