“After being on the road for 4 hours I arrived to the hotel 35 minutes before the 3pm check in time. I went inside to ask if I could possibly check in early (you have to be buzzed in) and as soon as the door opens the lady at the front desk yells across the lobby "if you're here to check in check in time isn't until 3pm". I understand rules are made to be followed, I get it, but I would have appreciated a little professionalism on her part to at least pretend to want to accommodate me even if the result (me having to wait 35 minutes to check in) was the same. So I go outside and wait until 3pm to come back to a very rude check in process (by the same lady). I was already turned off by my experience with the front desk only to open the door to a room that was subpar especially for the price I paid (there was a concert going on at the FedEx Field so I'm hoping that's why the prices were inflated). The bed was springy and lacked support or cushion, the pillows were flat, and my comforter was dingy and stained. The shower is VERY small (tub/shower combo) and had hair in it. My mirrors had what I assume to be toothpaste splattered on it. I explored the area and ended up checking into another hotel nearer to the concert venue that had a very polite staff and the hotel and rooms were a lot cleaner. In the immediate area (literally next door to each other) are two other hotel options...there is a Residence Inn by Marriott and a Hilton Garden I believe. I would fork over the extra couple of dollars in hopes that the service, beds, and cleanliness are better. Needless to say if there is an event in the area again I would definitely not come back and will avoid any stays at the Sonesta brand in the future.”

“Después de estar en la carretera durante 4 horas, llegué al hotel 35 minutos antes de la hora de registro de las 3:00 p. m. Entré para preguntar si podía registrarme temprano (tienes que llamar por un timbre) y tan pronto como se abre la puerta, la señora de la recepción grita al otro lado del vestíbulo "si estás aquí para registrarte, la hora de registro es hasta las 15:00". Entiendo que las reglas están hechas para ser seguidas, lo entiendo, pero hubiera apreciado un poco de profesionalismo de su parte para al menos fingir querer acomodarme incluso si el resultado (tener que esperar 35 minutos para registrarme) fue el mismo. Así que salgo y espero hasta las 3:00 p. m. para volver a un proceso de registro muy grosero (por la misma señora). Mi experiencia con la recepción ya me desanimó solo para abrir la puerta de una habitación que era insatisfactoria, especialmente por el precio que pagué (había un concierto en el FedEx Field, así que espero que esa sea la razón por la cual los precios eran inflado). La cama era elástica y carecía de soporte o cojín, las almohadas eran planas y mi edredón estaba sucio y manchado. La ducha es MUY pequeña (combinación de bañera/ducha) y tenía pelo. Mis espejos tenían lo que asumo que es pasta de dientes salpicada. Exploré el área y terminé registrándome en otro hotel más cercano al lugar del concierto que tenía un personal muy educado y el hotel y las habitaciones estaban mucho más limpias. En el área inmediata (literalmente uno al lado del otro) hay otras dos opciones de hotel... creo que hay un Residence Inn by Marriott y un Hilton Garden. Desembolsaría el par de dólares extra con la esperanza de que el servicio, las camas y la limpieza sean mejores. No hace falta decir que si hay un evento en el área nuevamente, definitivamente no regresaría y evitaré cualquier estadía en la marca Sonesta en el futuro.”
