“Muy bueno”
— Josh McCormick
“Beautiful hotel & resort and a perfect destination for our first-ever visit to Hawaii and a celebration of the final state on our 50-state quest. The on-site bars & restaurants were terrific, the people everywhere were friendly and helpful, and we couldn’t be more pleased. We were there just before the beginning of renovations, which probably made it a bit quieter than usual, but we enjoyed a bit more “elbow room.” We would love to return after the renovations are complete, and are sure it will be even more beautiful! One tip would be that in order to really enjoy the ocean views, a room on the third floor or higher would generally be preferred. We had a second floor room, which was blocked a bit by trees and flowers. Otherwise the room and the views were wonderful! We enjoyed watching humpbacks in the bay as well as the various surfers and rowers.”
