“We had a great few days at Hotel Gaston - the area is perfect, I'd recommend and will stay there next time I'm in Paris - good food and bars, quite quiet, felt very safe, close to a variety of stations, really loved it. The hotel was perfect - the room was cute and comfortable, no issues at all. The staff were so lovely, breakfast was nice, and a plus for me - gluten free bread + soya milk on offer, which is rare for a hotel breakfast! Very much enjoyed, will stay again”

“Great stay. Initial room not so great but on arrival made reception aware and moved to a slightly larger room and facing the front not the back of the hotel. Room basic but everything you need is there except tea and kettle etc. staff very helpful and lady on checkout great and very friendly. Only fault was the taxi driver she booked for us tried to totally rip us off and charge us astronomical prices for less than a mile in the car but not her fault, reflective of the greedy nature of some of the undesirables in Paris preying on tourists. Lovely stay. Affordable accommodation with helpful staff. Does seem sometimes only one staff member on the desk and they have a lot to do and are rushing around having to lock the front doors when they leave desk whilst this was only slightly annoying, I more felt sorry for the staff who were not supported as much as they should be by the owner.”
