“I usually don't do reviews until the end of my stay, but this is far too great of an experience not to share right now. We checked in about 2 am, got settled around 330 and went to sleep on a very comfortable bed. I woke up at 830 and breakfast is over at 9. We made it downstairs in time to have the best breakfast outside of my kitchen. Ms Williams' grits and eggs needed absolutely nothing. They were seasoned good enough for me to break protocol and review her now. She had great conversation and information about the area. If you're in the Columbia area make sure you stop by during the week and check her out.”

“I selected this hotel because my colleagues chose this hotel for our business trip, but I wish I would have chosen a neighboring hotel. The property is clearly very old - the furniture, the carpets, the decor are all way outdated. None of the hard surfaces in the room were clean as I did my usual wipe down when checking into hotels. My allergies acted up overnight so I'm sure the room was filled with dust. The positive side were the staff. Everyone at the front desk and the woman that worked the breakfast area were pleasant. I'm glad I only had to stay for one night. Perhaps it'll be better once renovations are complete.”
