“My Wife and I spent 2 days there recently waiting for room availability at another nearby Hilton Property. I was not impressed with the place, as it is more like a Motel than a Hotel. All the rooms have to be accessed from the outside. It's location is not good as it's on a main street, and the room we had was directly facing that busy loud street. The rooms are old and nothing special, especially considering it's a Hilton Garden Inn. Be prepared to be woken up by the local Roosters every morning at around 5 AM. If you are going to stay there, you definitely want a room on the back side of the place, where it's a little quieter. They do have a nice Restaurant and Bar Area, along with a nice pool area, that also contains an outdoor Bar. If it wasn't for the Staff, I would probably rate it as 2 Stars. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, and it's not their fault that the place isn't in a great location. The Concierge there was outstanding and probably the most knowledgeable guy with info about Key West. I would give him alone 5 Stars. They do have a free Shuttle Bus that will take you back and forth to downtown Key West, which was very convenient. It's located a few miles from both downtown Key West and the Key West Airport. I would suggest trying the Hilton Doubletree nearby if it's available over any stays at this place.”

“Although the exteriors of the buildings look/are a bit dingy, once you're inside the room, all that is forgotten. I'm not a big fan of the rooms with the sliding "barn" doors on the bathroom as the door was rather tough to move. I'm a big fan of the personal/private patios that the tower rooms have. This hotel is located on the very top of the island, the furthest you can get from Duval without leaving the island. There is a complimentary shuttle that runs on the hour which is helpful. When it comes to the staff, that's where this location truly shines. I've stayed there a total of 3 times now, and each time I have encountered top notch employees who are always courteous, approachable, warm, and eager to meet each individual's standards if not surpass them. Hilton should definitely take note, as they truly don't right here.”
