“If I could give it zero I would. Staff were awful. Refused us check in as we didn't have the same credit card the booking was made in although our room had been paid for months ago. We could have paid the holding fee £50 per room but she would not let us do this on another card. We tried to explain that it was our work that had paid for the booking but she wouldn't allow us to use a different card and refused to check us in. We would have been left without a place to stay so had no option other than to pay for rooms and holding deposit on our debit cards while she said she would refund the original payment. So we had to pay nearly 400 pound on our debit card & this left us with no money for food or drinks in the evening. Completely ruined our stay. Then when we got out the lift on the fourth floor there were 2 scratched up sofas covered in food crumbs and the corridor was littered with used food plates. Disgusting.”
